Anti aircraft gun 25 mm Type 96 description :
This is a 3d model of Imperial Japanese Navy Type 96 25mm Triple AA Gun. It is an automatic cannon. From this anti aircraft gun are three variations produssed – Singel Mout AA Gun, Twin Mount AA Gun and this 3D Model is the Triple Mount AA Gun. The triple mount version entered service in 1941. It was control by one person. The three guns have calibre 22 mm. Elevation from -10 degree to +85 degree, traverse – 360 degree, rate of fire 200 – 260 rpm ( for each gun). The maximum range is 5,5 km. It is not mobile.
Used on land and in warships in single, double and triple mountings. The single mount was free swinging, while double and triple mounts had hand-wheel traverse. Type 96 Model 10 – Used on torpedo boats.
From this AA Gun was built 33 000 and used in World War II ( Japan and in the Japanese overseas combat fronts ), Chinese Civil War, Indonesian National Revolution, Malayan Emergency, Korean War, First Indochina War and Vietnam War.
There are difrent variants:
Type 94 and Type 95 are built in French.
Type 96 is the first built in Japan.

Type 96 Model 10 was used on torpedo boats.
